Joe Wakeman creates beautiful Faux finishes and transforms cabinets and furniture to a new life.
After training himself with painting and wallpaper applications, Joe evolved to the world of art and specialty finishes, working in some of the finest homes in the Colorado high country.
His Fine Art is a inspirational testimate to his creativity and imagination. Using color, texture, and design, his multidimensional works are a special compliment to the walls of award winning homes.
With a Degree in Illustration and Design, and after years as a professional artist, Bonnie started “Norling-Wakeman Studios”. It has been the umbrella for her well known Mural paintings, Bas Relief Sculpture and Fine Art, found in private homes and businesses throughout the mountains and the U.S.
She was profiled in the 2001 Breckenridge and Summit magazines, the winter 2007, summer 2008 and winter 2008 issues of Mountain House and Home magazine, with her husband, and fellow artist, Joe.
She has numerous newspaper articles highlighting her mural commissions as well as winning “Best Artist” 2008 & 2009, in the Summit Daily Newspaper’s yearly “Favorites” survey.
